Our story

Moreira over the years
2005

The opening

After taking over the traditional delicatessen Oggenfuss, Antonio Moreira (former head seller of Oggenfuss) opened the Moreira Gourmet House. A new chapter for delicatessen began in Küsnacht — marked by tradition, quality and passion.

2013

Reconstruction & Modernization

The Moreira Gourmet House has been extensively modernized. With new splendor and contemporary equipment, the store shone to offer customers an even better shopping experience.

2024

Generational change & succession

After 19 successful years, Antonio Moreira hands over the Moreira Gourmet House to the next generation. The new owners Cyril Göldi as well as Patricia and Michael Hirt-Bunzl are continuing the legacy of Oggenfuss and Moreira — with respect for tradition and a look to the future.

2025

20 years of Moreira Gourmet House

The 20th anniversary is celebrated with numerous events and special offers. A year full of moments of pleasure and gratitude for two decades of culinary excellence.

Neuer Geschäftsführer

Stefano Pepe, langjähriger Chef der Delicatessa von Globus an der Zürcher Bahnhofstrasse, übernimmt per 1. Oktober 2025 die Geschäftsführung des Moreira Gourmet House.
